Project Management for NDIS
Certain Major Modifications for NDIS participants require an independent Project Manager. We offer Project Management for NDIS participants complex home modifications. We service the needs of Occupational Therapists and Support Co-Ordinators for managing there complex home mods.
Our services include but not limited to:
- Ensure the selected builder is fully licensed and insured. We check there records and certificates of currency for insurance
- When the approval by the NDIA has been granted, the Project Manager will arrange a meeting with the Builder and the Participant to sign the contract.
- Ensure the contract works (as agreed by the NDIA) are not exceeded and the budget provided is clearly identified.
- Ensure the works are as per the scope provided and meet the requirements of the Occupational Therapist
- Liaise with all parties during the modification works to ensure quality, timing and costs are managed
- Approve payment of builder progress claims upon completion of work stages
- Manage and control any variations to the contract, ensure the OT recommends approval and that the NDIA approve of any variations that may influence funding
- Attend site at contact signing, 50% completion, and 100% completion
- If defects are identified at the final inspection, a defect list will be issued to the builder. A virtual/photo inspection is to be conducted once rectifications are completed
- Once the modifications are complete (including defect rectification) and the OT and participant have signed off on the works, the Project Manager will issue a close out report, recommending final payment
- All works to current Australian Standards
- NDIS Registered and approved Builder
